PRIMARY SCIENCE TEACHER WORKSHOP
Come along to an afternoon session and find out about PL opportunities and Primary Science resources.

There are two workshop sessions to choose from.
WORKSHOP 1 – Week 6 Tuesday 13th March, 3:30-5:30pm

WORKSHOP 2 – Week 6 Wednesday 14th March, 3:30-5:30pm

Attendees must wear flat, covered shoes (no thongs or high heels) to enter the Makerspace.
Presenters will include;
- Aaron MacLeod, the coordinator for Jason Learning by National Geographic, will highlight what the extensive program/resource can offer.
- Cindy Chambers will highlight Questacon’s resources for primary students and teachers.
- Nicole McAlester from Primary Connections will share exciting news and details of new and future program offerings.
- Sarah Fletcher (SEAACT) will present information about online resources, a science teacher FB page and other interesting tips for Primary Science.
In addition to the formal presentation, representatives from various ACT science organisations will be on hand to share their services and resources for primary students and teachers.
Cost: Gold coin donation to cover afternoon tea
This PL is NOT TQI registered; however, you are able to use this PL for your teacher identified hours.
